Sang Landscaping was created by Jim Sang, while in college, in the summer of 1995 in his hometown of Grand Forks, ND providing lawn care and landscaping services.

Jim learned the business from his brother (landscaping owner) and friend (business partner) who had been involved in the industry for over 10 years.

In 1997, Jim received a $10,000 scholarship on behalf of the Pentair Corp. for exhibiting a promising, successful business while in college.

After graduating from college, Jim decided to pursue the corporate world and leave the landscape business behind. But after only 3 years of the corporate grind, Jim missed the landscaping business, the independence of owning a business, and the ability to make an immediate impact in people’s lives.

As a result in 2001, Sang Landscaping re-opened its doors for business, but this time in the St. Paul/Minneapolis Metro Area. Since then, Sang Landscaping has prided itself on highly personalized, attentive service, a commitment to high quality work, and most of all providing a fun and rewarding atmosphere for all employees and customers.
